The point of this project was to use shadows and perspective to make a self portrait look three dimensional. One thing that I learned to do was use shadows to help make a drawing look better than it originally is. It plays a big part to make the sketch look good and realistic. There is a clam and relaxing mood to this drawing.
The point of this project was to make a room that fades into one vanishing point. One skill or thing that I learned was orthogonal lines across a horizon line. Proportion and scale play a big part in the project because the objects further away need to be drawn smaller. The mood of this drawing is kind of a quiet empty feel. The room is kind of normal so it seems quiet. the point of this project was to make a room that fades into one vanishing point. This assignment was a one pint perspective assignment. There are many shapes on the page that all go to a certain point on the paper. I used perspective and value to make the shapes in front pop out more than the ones in the back. Also overlap to but shapes in front of others to make the drawing look more three dimensional. This art to me expresses a cool, cut, clean image because all of the shapes do a similar thing by all pointing to a certain vanishing point. This project is the parallel lines project and the objective was to make various shapes using parallel lines. I used pencil to make this project. A new skill that I leaned was using light and dark lines to make objects look like they pop out at you. The main art elements are value and shade. The shade makes the shapes look in front pf the others and the value is the space the items take up. The lines and shapes express an idea that there are many layers, for example I tried to make about 2 layers in it by using shade and size. |
